For residents at the DuPage Care Center, meaningful activities are about so much more than simply passing the time. They stimulate the mind, foster connection, encourage independence, and create a sense of purpose and belonging.

A puzzle can exercise memory. Gardening can spark conversation. Music can awaken cherished memories. Outings offer opportunities for independence and community connection, while celebrations and games bring laughter and something to look forward to.

Thanks to the donors who supported the DuPage Care Center Foundation, residents enjoyed a wonderful variety of enriching experiences this year, including:

• A Kane County Cougars game
• A magic show at the MAC
• Gardening with Master Gardeners
• Monthly musicians and entertainment
• Sensory food groups and ceramics
• Woodshop activities and weekly bingo
• Outings to Fox Bowl and Cooper’s Corner

These experiences bring joy, purpose, and meaningful moments to everyday life. With your support, we can continue creating these opportunities for residents throughout the coming year.
