Our Teen Volunteers play an integral role at the DuPage Care Center. They share their talents while helping to improve the quality of life for Center residents. They also learn about the healthcare field, develop new skills, make new friends, and enjoy the many rewards associated with helping others. The DuPage Care Center Foundation is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to these special Teens.
Scholarship opportunities are open to current high school seniors who log at least 50 volunteer hours in the VolunTeen Program at the DuPage Care Center, and follow the guidelines of the VolunTeen Contract. All applicants must submit official transcripts with proof of grade point average, lists of academic and extra-curricular accomplishments, and volunteer positions held outside of DPCC. Applicants will need to submit answers to six questions listed on the last page of the application.
Information and applications are available in the Volunteer Services Office at the DuPage Care Center. All completed applications must be received no later than March 15th of the current school year. The names of the scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of April.
